my blender.
so, i named my blender Harry Potter.
underneath the shiny silver buttons are words like, "Blend! Crush! Liquefy!"
and it always makes me think of Hogwarts students and Dumbledore's Army and their spells.
yes, i am a nerd.

once upon a time kara bought a blender with her friend joe and it was a lovely contraption that provided many smoothies to us and many laughs.
in kara's absence, the blender died.
i didnt hear about it for 2 months.
