no one told me.
i just heard that my surrogate goldfish, Buston, bit the dust.
the rub: no one even knows when he died! he was recently found trapped in the Filter of Death.
my only comfort is the fact that there is an off-chance that he reached his ripe old age and went belly-up before the Filter got him. because he was indeed a fighter. the horror, the scandal.
but... the Filter is a likely story. i'm not ruling out the fact that someone might have poisoned him, just for spite, and then stuck him in the Filter to make it look like an accident.
tomorrow i'm going to buy a new goldfish.
