"hey there, person... individual."
i don't seem them that often, i don't know them that well, and we don't really ever stop to have a conversation... it's more just a passing "hello, how are you." like last night, at the store.
but every single time, this kind person, who i respect, greets me as "Stacy."
i've been wrestling with the age-old question for a long time... do i tell them?!
sheesh. why'd they have to go and make things so complicated?

well it is pretty easy to get "Stacy" confused with "Traci" ... I mean, I can understand why they did...
what are you trying to say Stacy?
Haha. I am sympathizing.
I think someone out there in this universe who committed a crime or has distinctive (possibly unpleasant) looks is similar to me. Because for about 8 years if I am in the Gaithersburg area people will yell, greet, nod/smile and say "Kelly!" - it's quite frustrating. I don't mind them mixing up "Jen" with "Kelly" (hey at least Casey and Stacy are similar...) - it's the fact that I probably won't know until heaven who Kelly is.
Can't you see me? (After pouring out my heart in gratitude to my Lord and Savior!) - "Father? I have just one very important question"...
Of course, one other possibility would be that the police may find me one day and do more than simply courteously address me as said individual...
I saw you at the store Wednesday night...did I call you Stacy?
